Well, we made it. In Ketchikan now. It actually wasn't bad - the weather was absolutely beautiful the whole trip. We took I90 the entire way NY, PA, OH, IL, IN, WI, MN, SD, WY, ID, WA & AK with only a few detours. The hardest part was not getting off every exit to go exploring.
Sade did a bit of driving - she got up to 80 miles an hour here in MN (see the wind turbines in the background?). Rosie was great - she slept almost the whole way and then we almost killed her in the Badlands - more on that later. And we found out that she loves fried pork rinds!
